In Denial...
When you hold on to something/someone for the sake of holding on, it hurts.
When you keep holding on the something/someone just because you're afraid of losing it, it'll hurt more.
But when you know the truth, and keep denying it.. just to hold on.. it hurts the worse.
You're just in denial.
